Tina Mammoser – Venice Exhibition / Blackheath Gallery – 5 March – 16 April

Posted in Arts, Events, New Works, SFSA Members by Second Floor Studios & Arts on March 3, 2011

SFSA studio member Tina Mammoser will be showing works as part of this months Venice Exhibition group show at the Blackheath Gallery, 34a Tranquil Vale, Blackheath, London SE3 0AX.

http://www.blackheath-gallery.co.uk/upcoming.htm

Tina has used her method of many thin glazes and building fields of colour to transform Venice into representation of the very element that defines her. The artist’s science background gives her a curiousity about the properties of the water surface: light and shadow, reflection and refraction, pattern and water movement. These create a different memory of Venice. Tranquil spaces of line, colour and light rather than landscape.
